What happened too?

Here are some artist that disappeared. I think they might have broken up or on hiatus.

Virtue - A group that started out with four members and ended with three sisters. I’m not sure if they broke up but I do know that a former member has a solo album.
Put your war clothes on - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seOzG3Spqsk

Pam & Dodi – an interesting gospel duo with very powerful voices. They released one album then disappeared.
What’s Wrong - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRqFoA4Y-Bo

Ramiyah – A gospel quartet that simply disappeared. Wikipedia said that they returned this year with a new single called “He is the one”. I looked and haven’t found it.

How about some good Spanish Christian music

I don’t know much about theses artist but I did find some good songs by them. Two out of three songs are mostly pop. The third song is by Rojo and it’s more pop/rock.

Ladies of Christian Hip-Hop

Blaze ft Tony Stone - Christ On High
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMhBFGYCvTk&feature=related

Trini - I don't know much about her except she raps and shes good at it. Out of the 4 female hip-hop artist here Trini is the closest to dance or pop music.
Suzy Rock – Natalie Sims aka Suzy Rock is Christian rapper. She’s featured in a lot of songs from Lecrae to singer Rachel (Not Rachel Washington another Rachel). Enjoy this song its called: So What - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tS6QkNbVPDc&feature=related

Rachael Washington – The voice from the former Christian hip-hop group Souljahz now turned The Washington Project is named Rachel Washington. Not only does she sing but she can also rap, I don’t mean say a couple words and call it a rap. I mean the real thing Sista got mad flow. Check out Diamonds

Erica Cumbo – Is a Christian rapper / singer she’s part of the Cajo Family. This song is called - After Party http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPoUyvPL4E4

Groups that broke up

Although they broke up they still have an extensive collection of songs.

Out of Eden: This group is made out of 3 sisters; they started in the 90’s and lasted up until a couple of years ago.
Songs I would recommend: Make way, Soldiers, Looking for love. Here’s the video for Looking for love

For the Pop Lovers:

Zoegirl: The first Christian pop group I’ve ever liked. If it wasn’t for them I would have turned my back on Christian pop.
Songs I would recommend: Where I wanna Be, R U sure about that, Dismissed
Here’s the video for Dismissed

Not your average R&B

Jade Harrell – Addicted feat. Coffee
When I first heard this song I couldn’t stop playing it for days (actually I’m playing it as I write this). Her album is a mix of R&B and dance. This song features Coffee from the Hip-Hop group Grits.

Tye Tribette – Fresh
Here’s a heads up I haven’t heard his old stuff but apparently this song is really different so If you want to go back to his old stuff don’t expect this (this song is from 2010).

Some names to remember

The names that are constantly heard are: Mary Mary, Kirk Fraklin, Toby Mac and that’s good and all but here are some new ones.

Genre: R&B

Aaron Sledge - 2nite

This song right here is crazy. Now it's not for everyone mind you some people might not get it but others will understand in a second. It’s basically about a guy who goes over to a girl’s house to do more than talking. But it’s a Christian song so you know God’s going to intervene somewhere. I don’t want to ruin the song so take a listen.

Erica Diamonds - Letting you go
It's a nice breakup song.

Genre: Pop

Beckah Shae - #Putyourloveglasseson
I have to admit the first time I heard Beckah Shae I thought she was ok. Until I heard this song I gotta give it up to her, Its GOOD! Next time I try a new singer I’ll have my love glasses on.

V.Rose ft. Flame - Oh My Ahh
For some reason I really love this song. At first I barely played it but now I love V.Rose. She’s one of the people who you either love or can’t stand. I hope you love it.
